Our Organisation
The organisation shall be known as the Kgosi Pelonomi Toto Foundation (hereinafter referred to as “the Foundation”). It is established as a voluntary, non-profit, and non-political organisation in accordance with the Nonprofit Organisations Act, 1997 (Act No. 71 of 1997) of the Republic of South Africa and shall operate as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) upon approval by the South African Revenue Service.
FOUNDING MEMBER
The Foundation recognises Kgosi Pelonomi Precious Toto as the Founding Member and inaugural Chairperson, who initiated and established the organisation. The Founding Member shall remain a central custodian of the Foundation’s vision, ethical foundation, and strategic direction, subject to the provisions of this Constitution.
VISION
The vision of the Foundation is to promote an inclusive, educated, empowered, and economically sustainable society.
MISSION
The mission of the Foundation is to implement structured interventions in education from Early Childhood Development (ECD) through to tertiary level, while advancing social impact programmes and promoting economic development initiatives that uplift disadvantaged communities.

OBJECTIVES OF THE FOUNDATION
The Foundation shall pursue the following core objectives:
The Foundation shall promote equitable access to quality education from ECD through primary, secondary, and tertiary levels by supporting learners through bursaries, scholarships, mentorship programmes, learning support initiatives, and educational infrastructure development.
The Foundation shall implement social development programmes aimed at improving community wellbeing, including youth empowerment, skills development, health awareness, and support for vulnerable and marginalised groups.
The Foundation shall promote sustainable economic development through entrepreneurship support, enterprise development, job creation initiatives, and partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders to enhance economic inclusion.
The Foundation may engage in any lawful activities that support its objectives and are consistent with its non-profit and public benefit status.
